As can be seen, this Firebird started out a little rough. The building it was in collapsed under the weight of a spring snow storm! As a 350 firebird it wasn’t really valuable and the customer really wanted a ’69 Camaro. But we made some design changes, some color and emblems, eliminating the chrome front bumper (body color), led Halo lights, LED sequential tail lights, RE-cammed LS 6.0 Vortec, 4L65e with 10” stall converter, 4.10 gears, 4 wheel disc brakes, 18” wheels and the stance.
He doesn’t want a Camaro anymore, lol. We reskinned the roof, changed doors, found a nice hood from a Sprint GT ‘bird, used some Camaro trim and spoiler (more subtle than the Pontiac components), Viper RED paint and the modern drive train. This is a stone reliable, quick and extremely fun car to drive that spends it summer’s cruising around town or blasting through the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
